Green Impulse

What sort of group is "Green Impulse"?

We are a performance group with dancing and singing under the theme of the "Earth Family". We have 15 members from children to adults with different ages. We are the "Earth Family" living on a planet, even if our nationalities and races are different, or even if we are not having blood relations each other. We are appealing through our songs, "Let us hold each other's hand accepting the difference of each personality, even though we have some quarrel time to time.

What is the song, "Yakusoku" like?

How will we feel about the wars and the conflicts caused by the differences of religions or beliefs, if we were born in various nations in various times. How do you think the Mother Earth feels about our fights and hurt of each other living on the same earth? This song is describing the theme thinking about such things.

(Note: "Yakusoku" means promise in English.)

What kind of songs would you like to challenge to perform in the future?

Now we are producing a song under the theme of a girl riding UFO and arriving to Earth. What landscape will she see on Earth from her eyes, the view point of her? Continuously we would like to give dancing and singing performances with children on the bravery of shaking hands over the differences and the strength of belief in our friends.

Message from the IAPG Founder, Noriko Inamori

There are millions of people who have great skills in music or dance out there while our group consists of amateurs basically. Their performance skills might not be so impressive, but there are passionate messages of unification such as being one earth family or a prayer for world peace. For me, this is the most important thing, to send out the messages, more than anything else.
