IAPG New York Performance Report in October 2019
In October 2019, INAMORI Art Project Group (IAPG) has performed the event "Prayer of Love and Peace, New York".
Thanks to your support, we could have the 7th annual event in New York. We had wonderful performance this time as well. Thank you so much for coming to see us at the event.
In this year, we gave four performances over three days from October 11 to 13.
On October 11 and 12, the location was at the church of Salvation Army Harlem Temple Worship Center in Harlem, Manhattan.
On October 11, we performed the drama "NAGASAKI MIRACLE / THEN & NOW" and the short musical "UNIFICATION".
On October 12, we had two performances of Part 1 and Part 2. We performed the drama "The Firefighters" and the short musical "UNIFICATION" at the Part 1.
And between Part 1 and 2, we performed on the sidewalk in front of the church for the publicity campaign of our performance.
We performed Japanese Taiko Drums "Wind of the Restoration" and the drama "NAGASAKI MIRACLE / THEN & NOW" at the Part 2.
On these two days, the people gathering at the Salvation Army Harlem Temple Worship Center were resonant to us so much. At the end of each performance, we had a chorus of "Love and Peace" which is one of the songs IAPG is using in the short musical "UNIFICATION" with all the audiences, and a lot of them came up to the stage. The performance was ended with our hearts being unified as one.
On the last day of the event, October 13, the location was at The Harlem School of The Arts HSA Theater in Harlem.
We performed the drama "The Firefighters" and the short musical "UNIFICATION".
We performed with IMPACT, a performance unit active around New York, and collaborated with them in our short musical "UNIFICATION".
At the end of the performance, we had a chorus of "Love and Peace" with all the audiences and really got excited.
What's more, on this day, Noriko Inamori, the founder of the IAPG as well as the IAPG organization received commendation from the United States Congress and New York City respectively and the award ceremony was held during the performance program. It was announced that they nominated October 13, 2019 as the INAMORI Art Project Group Day (Noriko Inamori Appreciation Day) in New York Manhattan.
We were able to send the IAPG's vision of "Unification -From Division Towards Unification- ~Now, to unifying the world as one~" with the audiences in New York.
